This week I have been working with inkscape. I have copied the logo of Hollister because is one of my favourite brand of clothes.

  This week, we have been working with a new program called Inkscape. We used a website full of tutorials. I have choosen the candle one because I like it although  I also like the map a lot .You can see the website with the candle tutotial HERE.

In this post I'm going to show you an animtion that I have done with gimp. Hope you like it!

Clone and Heal tool

• Clone Tool : It is used to duplicate the sample area .It copies the frame you select and reproduces it wherever you want.

 

•  Heal Tool : It is very similar to the clone tool but it doesn't copy the colours of the image, it also copies the texture, lightening, transparency... It is very usefull to correct imperfections in the face like wrinkle, zit...

  Today I'm going to talk about what I have learned this week. We have done a lot of interesting things, one of them is the image formats. There are a lot of types but I'm only going to explain one of them.

1.  GIFF: Is an image file format commonly used for images. It only has 256  colours.

Today I'm going to explain what I have done these days in class. We have to decorate the high school. For  doing that we use gimp. First, we have to do two drawings and then putted at the background. Hope you like it!

   Today I'm going to talk about Javier Fernandez. He is a Spanish figure saketer. He was born on 15 April 1991. He is one of the few ice skaters performing quadruple jumps. Due to its successes it is considered the best Spanish skater.

Gimp Lesson : Silhouette

   In my firts class I've been working with gimp. This is what I have done.

 The silhouette is a bit inaccurate to the original image, but I think that the result is not bad. For the background I have chose a desert.

  I'm going to talk about my presentation. It is about Basic Internet Applications.
 

IP:Is an identifier for a computer or device on a network

 Some of the disadvantages that you have with the DNS is that if your machine name doesn't change when you get an IP adress because of the DNS name is associated with your IP adress. This only presents problems if other people try to acess your machine by it's DNS name.
NETWORK TRANSPARENCY :
    Is a condition in which an operating system or other service allows the user acess to the remote resource through a network, without needing to know if the resource is remote or local.
    Local refers to files, devices and other resources at your own workstation.
    An example of this is : STANDARD : That provides acess to share files

ENERGY :
   Energy is a property which can be transferred to other objects or converted into different forms, but can't be created or destroyed. Energy is measured in Joules.
  There are different types of energy :

MULTIMETERS :

Are appliances that measure electric quantities: Voltage, current and resistance.

MEASURING VOLTAGE:

To measure voltage in a circuit, we have to connect the multimeter in parallel. The selection panel should show DC or AC. We select an appropiate value for measurement.

Game: Controla

The game Controla is an interactive electrical control simulator designed by  Red Eléctrica de España
 (REE), the company responsible for high voltage transport and the operation of the electrical system in Spain.

Players manage a control centre for a electrical system. To do this, you will recive information about what happens in the electrical system and you will need to decide what to do in order to maintain an adecuate energy supply troughout the system at all times.

Do not worry, the program tells what you must do to reach this goal.
